With art from the renowned French illustrator Alexandra Bach, along with designer and author Carole-Anne Eschenazi comes Tarot De La Nuit: “Tarot Of The Night.”
The French pair sought to produce a deck steeped in the mysterious magic of the moonlight and the magic that has long found its place among the dark of day. A take on the festivities of Halloween blended with French stylized erotica. The core of the deck is loosely based on the RWS, seventy eight card system while setting itself apart within it’s own unique theme and aesthetic. An additional Major Arcana card is introduced in this set: the ‘Angel De La Nuit’ ~ Angel Of The Night makes this a seventy nine card oracle set of the Tarot.
As the clairvoyance of the reader in using the divinatory tool relies primarily on the conscious soul within and the Spirit without, this deck eschews the obligatory symbolism and archetypal imagery of the Rider-Waite Smith representations for the cards. The connection to Source or Spirit alone is what is relied on in working with this oracle and the imagery is crafted for sheer enjoyment. This being said, this deck is geared more so towards experienced readers who are already well versed in the divinatory meanings and interpretations for the suits, the Minor and Major arcana of the traditional Tarot. Even though this is not a learner deck and it is necessary for the reader to know the basic card meanings the deck still connects with the soul consciousness and is a highly functioning intuitive deck. Anyone with a Pleiadian background or strong psychic censor will breeze through readings with this deck as effectively and efficiently as they would with the standard RWS stylized Tarot decks. The companion booklet explains the meanings and interpretations for each card as well as the Angel Of The Night card, and it’s representation of the darkness within our own souls being brought to the light, a powerful reflection of spellcraft illumination. The book is printed in six languages which is very interesting, especially for western collectors of the Tarot. The artwork is exotic and produced on quality card stock and comes in a very nice upright standing display box. Definitely a European style Tarot and one that will surprise many readers with it’s unique but very present and efficient energy. Tarot De La Nuit is a deck that will add some savoir faire to their readings and clarifications.
